I have a PCchips mb M747
And a Celeron 300A
But the MB sets the corevoltage it self
I have used Sisoft sandra an MBmonitor 410 B2
And the core voltage is 2,9 volt
This is way to high
The system is running on 450mhz for 10 months
But the Cpu is to hot i cant close the case
Is there a way to lower the corevoltage

Tape the pin b121 to override the motherboards auto detection. It will set the Core voltage to 2,2 volts. Maybe the celeron has just had it. 450MhZ for 10 Months hmm... it could be done.

Maybe it's lying! I have heard that above 2.4v will fry a celeron in a short time.

Maybe it's at the right voltage but just not indicating it right.

I think you should have the latest bios, and if it does not recognize the Celeron by name on boot up, then the voltage might default to the Klammoth 2.8, in which case I would say you have a very tough celeron, tape the B21 pin so it sees it as a deschutes for 2.0v.
