Hello,

I own a Cyrix 166MHZ and have a Smart and Friendly CD Racer CD-RW drive 2224..i recently reformatted and reinstalled win 98SE and have been having probs since..i can make backups of CDs, but when i put them back in drive (or other CDs i have created) it lets me read some of them and wont let me read others..even the ones it lets me reads lock up when i try to play the CD Game or transfer files back to hard drive..anyone can help? please any help is greatly appreciated..Thanks

What kind of interface is the burner? ie: IDE, scsi, ect.
what Motherboard and spec's ect ie: ram, system resources.
What software are you using to burn with?

just going on what you have posted so far I would say to first check to see what type of "image" you are burning. some older CD players just don't read "homeburned" cd's well.
