Someone must have done it. Weighed a house.
Someone else must know about it.
That's the way things work.

No one can keep something that someone else has done , to themselves. So someone should know the weight of a house.
Will it be easier for me to physically weigh a house myself or should l find the person who has already solved the problems.

Choices.

I'll say its about 100lbs per sq foot without furniture.

the outside wall would be a lot heavier then 100lbs.

but the middle of the rooms is around 35lbs, and there is a lot more sq feet in the house then outside.

heres the break down of the inside.
1sq foot of concrete 4" thick 20lbs
1sq foot of drywall 2lbs
4 pieces of 2x4x12 6.5lbs
1sq foot of plywood 3/4" 2.5lbs
1sq foot of roof shingles 1.5lbs
a hand full of screws and nails 2lbs

so if your house is 2200sq feet, the house should be about 220000lbs or 110 tons...
