Hi,
I want to make my "C" drive bigger as I am running out of size. I am using PartitionMagic 7.0 and what I have done so far is to attempt to move unused space from "D" to "C". What I ended up doing was (I think) creating another partition. I would like not to mess up my computer so this is what is says now.
Type Status
FAT32 Active Primary
Extended None Primary
FAT32 None Logical
Unallocated None Logical
The last one is the one I created so do I need to make it a "primary" or "FAT32" or what? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Partition magic will resize your "C" partition, you may have done it wrong, just delete the new partition and try to resize again. highlight the C drive click on partition and choose resize. Hope you sort it.

Delete the unallocated space and use the slider bars to expand or contract the partitions.
Read the manual please.

Back-up important data first - or risk losing it if the program crashes midway though a "Move" operation.
first highlight & resize down the D partition by hovering your mouse over the left end of the graphic and dragging to the right until you have just enough space left for future use, then highlight & resize up the C partition to fill the blank space left by the "shrinking" of the D! when you click apply the process will probably require a reboot to complete and move the data around, it might be some time before it completes [depending on the amount of data to be moved - all on D partition], draw a bath, chill, and as BpB almost said - RTFM! :D.

Thanks for your replies.
I have been reading the manual and even reading "Help". I am obviously doing something wrong as it shouldn't be that complicated. I'll try the suggestions and let you know.

Somehow I got rid of the "Unallocated non logical" and was able to double my "C" drive which is what I wanted to do. I did create a small "E" drive but I can live with that. Thanks again for the help. Maybe some time I will tackle upgrading my BIOS.
