Digital Photo software

What are you using and what are your likes and dislikes with it? Trying to find a good one to replace what I have now which are these.
Kodak EasyShare, Polaroid PhotoMax and PhotoXplosion.
Would like something we can do slideshows with and add backround music.
Have looked at Roxio Easy MediaCreator Platnum and would be limited to ver. 6 as right now I'm still using Win98SE and ver. 7 doesn't support it. Also with this I could do away with Nero and not have to move between programs.

Paint shop pro 7 comes with an animation shop, probably build a slide show if you slow it down besides all the photo editing tools. Also edit and make slide shows with http://www.irfanview.com/ plus add sounds, take a look.
