Playtstation 2?

Hey, I've been hearing that the graphics for the Playstation are pretty bad!!! Has anyone heard this? I have old Playstation 2 and it's having problems. I was going to get the new one, because it's sleek and thinner.

Any thoughts?

I didn't realise there was more that one type of ps2 ?

PSX moosin big Grey one
PS1 lil White one PSU on mains plug
PS2 Black Wiv blue lights (Snazzy woos)

Graphics ....... Umm well it is a kids toy :rolleyes: But I have never heared anyone complain about them tho :t

Thinking about it they did improve & swap about the specs of the PSX....... It went from poor to great to awful ....... I used to put vcd adaptor cards & chips in PSX's so ya could watch VCD's & play dodgy games :D

I did some PS1's but they used to break so easy ....... Turned in to a right PITA

You heard wrong... The slim PS2's graphics are IDENTICAL to the 1st generation.

Having a PS2 I'd say you heard wrong. The graphics have more to do with the game than the play station itself. Vice City has excellant graphics and so do some of the other games we have for it. Some just suck though.:t

There is nothing wrong with the PS2's graphics. If anything the limitation lies with your TV set's poor resolution compared to a computer monitor/LCD TV.

Then probably the people who've told me this must have bad tv resolutions. My PS2 plays my games just great and my tv is a monitor and no problems.

Why I'm keeping my PS2, cuz I have games that are not made pc's. And I'd get set squat for my games if I sold them.

Plus my nephew's have something cool to play with when they visit.
