odd problem ?????????

I have an adhoc p2p network and it works fine. if I turn off the second computer (no network sensed) the first system gets into a stutter situation and music jitters and the usb mouse responds badly. If i turn on the 2nd system it connects and all is well...

Any iseas ??

I'm gonna go way out in left field on this one.

It kinda sounds like a voltage/current loop to me...i.e., the power supply from one is upsetting the balance in the other when one is turned off.

Try disconnecting all cable connections between the two machines to see if there is a problem with the physical cabling connections. If you can see any difference at all after the machines are electrically separated, maybe we can work on a cure.
