Well gonna buy a new monitor.
As I see with these wonderful 19" and 21" that makes me crazy http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif, the only 3 choices I come upon is the 21" G810 from Viewsonic, the other two being the Sony Multiscan CPD-420GS and NEC Multisync E900+

Owning a 21" was always my dream - especially when I saw the Viewsonic US820 pricing. The only weakness I see in it is the lack of BNC connectors and the weak Video output bandwidth of 130Mhz.
Is it acceptable? Would the two other choices be a better idea? I mean, if the Viewsonic is a no go.. I would only have the chance for a 19" monitor since my cash is just plainly limited.

Thank you.
Also the reason why I posted the message here is just that more people come to visit this forum. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

i don't know...I've always used the BNC connector. I got an old NEC professional series 21" and a newer 19" Phillips. I prefer using the NEC over the newer 19". Mainly because of the size. The picture is still as good or better than a lot of monitors I see now.

It has a 190Mhz bandwith as long as the BNC connectors are used.

The 19" is capable of higher refresh rates and has great contrast and a sharp image but has flaws here and there. Overall its a good monitor. But I still prefer the NEC.

If your dream is to get a 21" monitor, don't cut your dream short. Get a good 21" from Sony, NEC, Eizo Nanao or the one you have your eyes set on.

You'll thank yourself.

You came this far and saved your cash to be able to purchase a decent monitor. Take the extra step and time to grab your dream instead...

Then you can dream-up another. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
