Is Spongebob gay?!

An awful lot of websites I've visited recently are questioning the orientation of Mr. Squarepants.

"Cartoon character Sponge Bob SquarePants, is a sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea, whose movie is currently showing in Australia, has been condemned by evangelical Christian groups. When people are seriously starting to worry about the sexual orientation of a cartoon character, it's time to start worrying about those people.

Like there aren't enough real things in the world to worry about.

I fully agree. There hasn't been a toon worth watching since the old road runner/buggs ones that had lots of violence.
The current crop of violent toons are just try-hard imitators (apart from Happy Tree Friends (http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/index.html)).
