A bit ambiguious, but you can always rely on me to read it incorrectly.
After all, its not that great a stretch of the imagination to imagine you drunk driving :)
Spending over 800 on a cat is enough to drive anyone to the turps.

thats good, charge the parents for the kids crimes, so your 15yr old boy bonks anything he can and you get the rap for sex with a minor, the jails would be full of 40 yr olds not getting any, doing time for kids who cant stop themselves. :(

So you don't think parents should bear any responsibility for the actions of their kids?
Actions that any child knows are wrong.

Werz, I didn't say that they shouldn't arrest the kids too, they did it. However, the parents bear responsibility for their childs actions until they are 18 around here. Where did this girl get her liquor?? Prolly the parents home. Where did she get the car keys?? Same place. Why didn't anyone pay attention to what she was doing there????? Her parents are NEGLECTFUL of their parental duties here, it's obvious that no one was paying attention to the child and they should be held responsible for that.
Well good luck, its more to do with the type of kid than parent, I've seen good kids and bad kids from the same family, from outside observation they look to have been treated the same.

The type of kid is completely the result of the way its brought up by its parents.
These days, parents have no bloody idea about appropriate child rearing and let their ofspring get away with absolutley everything.
To say that its more the kid's fault than its parents simply throws the ultimate responsibility back onto the parents and the crappy way they have brought up the kids.

I guess 'these days' really means 'the last 15 years'.
Parents are so afraid of disiplining their brats that they just don't do it in case their kids call the cops and say they were assulted or abused.
When I went to school corporal punishment was still around and it sure as hell didn't physically or emotionally scar anyone I know for life; but now, a small smack on the **** when a child is misbehaving is enough to get the parent into jail and the child into protective custody.
But even now, the social do-gooders want to go even further.
My father used to be a teacher, one of his pupils made a compalint against him for 'always asking me the hard questions in front of the class' and my dad had to justify himself in front of a school board. Of course he was cleared of 'mental abuse', but its this kind of behaviour a whole generation is being taught is okay.
Just remember, its these d@mn brats that will be running the world in another 20 years!

Because you are capable of arguing with several people at once, I think the label you are looking for is "Mass Debator".
