Every once in a while, I receive e-mails that show nothing in the body of the e-mail. If I check the properties/details/message source I can see the Message data. See below. But in regular read area, I cannot see the message. The data is also not clickable so that I could hi-lite it and change fonts/colors
Thanks
This is a multipart message in MIME format.

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
This is a test2 for email.

Try this:
Start > Run > regsvr32 inetcomm.dll

Thanks, but that did not work, I still cannot see the message.
Would this work for messages already received or only for new messages??

Re-registering this DLL (if that was the problem) would have fixed all messages.
Tho it looks more of an encoding problem..... and OE having problem displaying plain text messages. Did you check if the blank messages have all the same encoding:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii".
Sorry besides that FIX.. don't know what would create this.. if I find something I'll post back :t

Yes actually both of the below were from the same Mail Server, my corporate e-mail, but from different users. The first one was readable and 2nd NOT readable.
IS readable: Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
and
Not Readable:Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Was OE closed when you typed the command?
Here's a link (http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/blnkmess.htm).

Should OE have been closed or not??
I am running Aware, then SpyBot S&D
The link suggested I re-install SP2, not sure if I want to go that far!!!!

Yes it should be.
Can you read other emails from the same server or all are blank? if it's the latter then it could be on their end and not yours...
You could also check with CWshredder & HijackThis (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=161595) to rule out spywares.

I can read mail from other persons using the same server.
I will look into CWShredder and HiJackThis
