After overclocking my Cyrix166 mhz CPU,my system froze. After rebooting, I heard only a series of continous beeps, no pause between them, no screen ,no error messeges. Now, I don't hear any beeps. Power is runing the fan, hard drives only. I put all jumpers back ,resecured all cables and hardware with no luck. I thought I fried my CPU but I tested it out on another socket 7 system and it worked fine. Can you fry a MB with overclocking, would think the CPu would go first. Help!

Try clearing your CMOS. Look in your documentation. Happened several times when I was overclocking my C366 over 550.

The quickest way to troubleshoot your problem is to pull the vidoe card out, to see if you get any beeps. If after pulling the video it does not beep, pull your memory.
If you still don't get any beeps there is a good chance the board is toast.
