I've got an Intel AN430TX motherboard and an extra 64 megs of PC100 ram sitting around. Before I ruin the ram, does anyone know if I can use it in the motherboard, knowing of course it is going to run at 60-66mhz as the board is.

I've checked the Intel site and of course there is no mention of it other than gold tipped 60-66mhz ram.

Thanks in advance for any insight you might give me on this.

Should work fine. If it doesn't, it won't hurt anything.

The PC100 runs at 3.3V, you must set the sdram votl to 3.3 not 5V.

Hey thanks guys! According to the Intel System Memory Configuration it states that it wants 3.3 volt DIMMS, so I guess I am safe in that area.

I'll let you know if it blows it up! HA!

Thanks again.
