I am trying to reinstall my Iomega zip drive (standard 100MB) on my laptop but can get no further than ("Illegal operation . . .isinst30 caused an invalid page fault . . ." etc)

In the flimsy installation instructions, Iomega says "If you have difficulties in reinstalling, check that there are no missing files on your Tools disk." How the heck could I know?!

Is there an easy way to solve this one? My "vendor", who Iomega refer me to, went out of business. Isn't that just typical.

Many thanks for any help.

Some Zip drives just don't work with some BIOS. Now I'm not saying this is the case here, but keep that in mind.

Let me see what I can find out.
