Administrator password

Good day ppl

is there a way on win xp pro to remove the administrator password without formatting the o/s ? one of my users has a new pc purchased with o/s preloaded. the next thing he did was put a password on the admin account, now i dont have access to the pc.

DANGER WILL ROBINSON!
If used on users that have EFS encrypted files, and the system is XP, all encrypted files for that user will be UNREADABLE! and cannot be recovered unless you remember the old password again
