IT SAYS KEYBOARD ERROR/NO KEYBOARD PRESENT. IT WORKED BEFORE AND DOESN'T NOW. tetrix 08-08-1999, 10:53 PM Make sure you dont have any keys that are stuck and if thats not it try another keyboard and see if that works. Mntsnow 08-08-1999, 11:04 PM Make sure you have it plugged into the right port (ps/2) and not the mouse port. Also make sure it is in good and tight. if that doesnt work borrow another keyboard and try it (known good one) If that doesnt work I would say you have a messed up keyboard port http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Mntsnow TigerStrike 08-08-1999, 11:09 PM Do you have one of those crappy HP Pavillion computers? Some of them do not recognize the keyboard at random during startup. I noticed that the computer lights flash for a split second on startup when its going to do that. Just shut it off for 30 sec and turn it back on Either that or you may have bent a pin in the connector. If that happened, your SOL. SysOpt.com
