Registry F&^% Up... need some info

Firstly: I need to know what the registry file is called & where it is.

Second: what are the 4 or 5 registry backups called.

Third: what will they be called after rerunning win98 setup & saving old system in case a restore is wanted.

Fourth: god I am pissed off.

The regisrty file is called "system.dat." Windows98 makes 5 backups that are located in \\windows\sysbackup\rb001.cab and rb002.cab etc....Windows95 only makes one backup and I believe its called system.bak .
