system_sav???

I upgraded my older laptop from win95 to win me. Now I have a drive D that is called system_sav. It has a few folders that I don't have any idea what they are. Here is a list of a few of the folders:

_restore

cpqdrv

data

I do not use the system restore feature with win me; can I delete these folders? Also, is this drive a real drive or it a windows only drive?

it's a real partition. those are the cab files for the restore programs. if you aren't using the original compaq install of windows, you can just delete it.

I would keep it just in case. or burn it if you have a burner in there!
