wont recongize new memory (RAM)

I have given my nephew my old Packard Bell Legend 70cd Supreme computer. I overclocked it to 75 to 100Mhz and worked fine but, when i put 32meg of ram in it it only said i had 16megs. It only had 8 meg to begin with. In all I have 2 16EDO ram and 1 8 EDO ram in it. Please help.

I had a similar problem. The memory was not compatible with the Mobo. Only half of it was recognized. I replaced the memory with a different manufacturer and everything worked just fine.
