I accidentally chipped off a little piece of one of the (resisters?), about 1mm, under the lid. It still works, but it messes up my video card (Matrox Marvel G-200 AGP), and I get on error on Java enabled web pages. 2d works fine on my video card but 3d don’t, also clockspeeds are different. Does anyone know were to get one of these resisters, or where to send it to get it repaired.

Much Thanks in advance!!!!!

You can get all sorts of resisters and stuff at Radio Shack...

Did you damage the chip itself, or the motherboard? There are no visible resistors on chips. Do you mean one of the cylindrical protrusions on the mobo?

I did that once (knocked it rihgt off, actually). I put a new one on, but hte board never worked again (I think other things got damaged either simultaneously or as a result). I wouldn't recommend running it until it's fixed...
