DOS Problem

Hello. I have a KA-6100 mainboard w/Apollo Chipset and a Yamaha onboard sound chip. I was wondering why I can't get any sound or joystick support in DOS games, but the Sound and joystick works fine in Windows Games. I'm sure it's just a couple of settings but it's above my head. Please help. Thanks.

See if there is a DOS level driver with your install software or check the manufacturer's website for a driver. These drivers should have to be loaded from "autoexec.bat" and "config.sys", and your "dosstart.bat" in Windows directory should be the same as your "autoexec.bat"
