Downloaded a demo of Colin McRae 2005 last night and I was very dissappointed with the sound, its blatently just a really simple sound that they pitch up and down to match the revs and sounds very unrealistic IMO

Also downloaded Richard Burns Rally demo and that's just, well, awful

My mate has some kind of WRC official Rally game on the playstation and its awesome, anyone know if I can get that for the PC? Or can anyone recommend another Rally game?

Richard Burns Rally is the best game to get if your really into your rallying, its difficult to come from the arcade-em-up that is the Colin Mcrae series over to that, but if you bear with it its the most realistic and authentic (not to mention rewarding) rally game out there.

I may be wrong but the official WRC games arent out on the PC AFAIK.

Generally speaking if you dont like the realism of Burns, then your gonna have to go back to Colin Mcrae 2.0 for the best rallying experience around

Maybe I'll give richard burns another go then, but first impressions weren't good

I've seen a couple of other demos on fileshack (xpand rally etc) so i'll give them a go as well :D
