Hi all, a quick question on the "Files or Folders" option. Mine no longer shows the 'Folder' that indicates where the item/file is located. Thanks in advance! I don't get up here that often so don't flame me if I don't respond quickly.
Oops, forgot using Win98.

What are you looking for? Are you trying to find files in Word? And have you made any changes to your computer lately.

OK, in Win98: click 'Start', 'Find', 'Files or Folders'. The headers list the name, size, type, and modified aspects of the files you are looking for. It is supposed to list the path or 'folder' were that file is located. i.e. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared. I have somehow deleted the 'folder' header and am trying to restore this setting.

XP doesn't have that column as far as I know. I right-click the file found and select "Open Containing Folder.

Bill, using Win98. I fixed the problem. I apparently pulled the 'folders' header beyond the 'name' header without realizing it. Just pulled it back out! Problem solved.:)
