Retrain BIOS How?

I had to reformat my hard drive and now, using the restore diskette, I get a "missing operating system" message. My A: drive is not reading and the Setup menu says the A: disk is not installed. I was told I should try retraining my BIOS and given a password, how do I do that?

I believe you mean you want to reset the default bios settings. When the computer boots up you should see a prompt like hit del to enter setup or something to this effect. This will take you into the cmos where you can set up your floppy, HD, etc
