Wierd problem with Outlook / XP

So all of a sudden, my mail icon notification in my system tray is no longer working. Still set the same in Outlook. Yes I checked... the weird thing is is that if I click the little Hide/Unhide active icons thingy to display all the systray icons I can see the envelope icon. Apparently XP is mistaking the envelope for a Hidden icon?

Right click the task bar>properties>customize and reset the behavior.

Just right click on your task bar. Properties>>Customize and set the littel envelope to always show.
