We have a user at my office who needs to be able to switch back and forth between English and Spanish keyboard layouts. If this is done with the MS Office language bar that appears in the taskbar next to the system tray, how do I get it back there?

control panel > keyboards > input locales > "enable indicator on taskbar" tickbox near bottom.

1- Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.
2- On the Languages tab, under Text services and input languages, click Details.
3- Under Preferences, click Language Bar.
4- Select the Show the Language bar on the desktop check box.
Show Language bar (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/default.asp?url=/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/input_toolbar_show.asp)
