Acquired a modem that may require drivers.How and where do I find them.

With a model number, you may be able to go to IBM's website, or post the # here and someone will help.

I didn't hear that IBM makes modems.

Hi, I'm reboot from PCMech.
All IBM modem drivers can be found on their site. They also usually work with generic Windows drivers. Once the modem is installed, get your ATi3 response, and post it here or at PCMech. I'll find you a driver.
