i see artifacts just by increasing the clocks a little, tested on far cry...

i'm using the catalyst drivers that came with the card which are old though...

i'm also using rivatuner, is that a good oc program?

I just really want to o'c so that far cry runs smoothly from auto detected settings which are all very high except for texture quality which is on medium...

my problem is that it's still kind of choppy which is strange...

try putting on the OMEGA drivers and turning fastwrites off.

how do you use the radlinker? I can o'c my card to 1gig if i was crazy enough...

Just want to make sure it's safe/what is the safer way of o'c the card with the omega drivers

btw, it helped considerably, also with doom3 which i'm sure all of you know it's not that great on ati card...well with the omega drivers, it's pretty decent, snowing (though i got black snow instead of white) is kept to a minimum, just enough for me to forget to look for it.

also what is the deal with fastwrites? Should that be enabled? how about calibration cycle?

I do have a a64 but if it's not necessary, i'll keep it disabled.

thanks again,
