Heya..
This time a little troubleshooting advice taken from my real life experience... its so recent, its still smoking...

If you think you have a faulty power supply, take a power supply from another machine and put it in the place of the possibly-faulty one. DONT take the possibly-faulty and put it in a different machine to see if it works, you could fry a second computer... its the expensive way to know you powersupply is faulty...

I saw a mobo fry for the first time a few minutes ago...luckily it wasn't my fault...To make matter worse it was a P2-350..ARG!

I'm on a run, so I'll give you a second advice (its a 2 for 1). If you power-on your computer and nothing happen, it is often because the IDE connector is out of its socket. The link between the cause and effect? no idea http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

When you say IDE connector I presume you mean the 40-pin IDE data cable? If so, I find this surprising: you should just get a post error saying something about primary (or secondary) IDE failure. I once had a molex (hard drive-type power connector)with one pin hanging out and for some reason nothing powered on. As soon I shoved the wire back in and powered on everything came up.

yeah, thats what I mean... When the IDE connector is partially out of its socket, nothing happens at power up...
