I just recently built a new system using and BX6 Rev 2.0 motherboard and a STB Velocity 4400 AGP card. I can't get any 3D games to work after doing clean installs of the newest drivers from STB (ver 1.6) or the nVidia Detinator Drivers (ver 2.08). I've done all the BIOS tweaking I can think of, including disabling the video BIOS shadowing, the video BIOS caching, and disabling the ACPI. Is there something else I am missing? I would like to manually assign an IRQ to the AGP slot but I don't know how to do that. I have even left the PCI slot next to the AGP slot open so that the IRQ between the two is not shared. If there is anyone out there that can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

howdy, is the card agp? if it is, is your agp divider set to 2/3?

Listen to Merc. I had similar problems with a 770 and narrowed it down to the fact that the AGP setting was 1/1 when it should have been 2/3. Fritz

I had the same problem with an STB Velosity 128 but the nvidia reference drivers for the 128 "xyz" (or something like that)did the trick for me. Prior to installing those drivers open gl wouldn't work at all, not even in Wintune.

Since I am using the BXR6 Rev 2.0 MB I figured that the SoftMenu II would take care of the AGP Divider. I will try to set it manually. Thanx. . .:-) I'll let you guys know if it works.

Well guys, I set the AGP divider to 2/3 and it still froze up. The card is automatically setting the interrupt to IRQ 9 which is not recommended by STB. I am having trouble setting it to an IRQ other than 9, preferablly 12 or higher. IRQ 11 is being taken up by my SBLive! Value card. I am so ready to reformat, take apart the computer and start from scratch again. . .is there anything I can do before that I do that? I've never had so much problems!
