That needs to hurry up and come out, Fallout 3 will use the same engine. But Bethesda is going to wait for the next console generation before they release Oblivion, they don't want to be hindered by current console limitations. I guess its a good thing, but we'll have to wait.

If you are wondering why we stopped going public with news regarding Serious Sam 2, it's because our publisher is keeping things under wraps for the time being. The only thing we can say is that development of Serious Sam 2 is going GREAT! That's all we can say right now.

So, until our publisher gives OK to release new information, have a happy holidays and stay Serious!

Serious Sam has got to be one of the craziest if not THE craziest game I ever played.... never could beat the first one ..but got pretty far in the game.... Defintely a one of a kind.

I'm not sure if it's been officially announced, but after the ending of HL2, how could there not be a HL3 in the making?

I played painkiller, but never got very far before something interrupted me. Then Re-formatted my computer soon after, and never got the chance to reinstall. Something to look forward to on a wet and windy weekend.

Serious sam on the other hand, I played the first one out a couple of times, but in the second encounter I could never get past the very last level. You got about 1200 enemies against you, and it was always about the last attack wave that got me every time.

After trying for a couple of weeks to get past that I gave up.

There have been a couple of games which tried to copy it,(Will Rock for example) but Serious Sam is still the best for just mindless killing melees.

I can't wait.

Games like F.E.A.R. , STALKER , and Shadows of Cherobyl seem like the best games coming out for graphics and scare value. This seems to be the thing now to make something as frightening as possible.. with alot of drama. Thats fine with me as I love adventures..esp. the hold onto your seat variety....

AOE 3 is getting up quite a stir around the gaming media and most of the main gamesite are giving thier reviews and opinions about it right now.... for RTS strategy game lovers like myself, this is a very good thing....

Splinter Cell 3 is a game i have been waiting for for a while now this might be the first game coming out soon....

CC...I had hoped myself for the longest time that the company Illusion would make another Mafia game..but as you know we got the negative reply on this ..which I still think is a big mistake..

BF 2 will probably be pretty good, but I don't know how many more War type shooters I can take anymore... Too many of them out already...

Mindless shooters are really not my cup of tea. I like stealth and mission style play with some good action and cinematics thrown in.;)

Stalker is going to remind people of HL 2 in alot of ways... similar graphics...and they also have some good physics incorporated into the game..and.....it is going to be scary with alot of drama.

They had posponed this game until the middle of this year I believe..maybe a bit sooner..for reasons of wanting to tweak everything and finish the game.

F.E.A.R. is actually the game I am most excited about as I have seen a clip and alot of the screenies for it....and it looks amazing..with graphics like we all want and nice shadow effects.

There should be several new games out by the end of spring...and by then alot of you might need the time to catch up with the ole finances with Christmas,parting and all....;)

I would like to see a Resident Evil FPS. They tried it on the console with Survivor but it bombed... But that was like a Time Crisis FPS where it was basically target practice.

Im talkin about having Resident Evil the same... where you need to find puzzle peices and light the fire to burn the painting and stuff like that... But its a FPS.

Resident Evil always annoyed me because of its adherance to the now painfully old Doom formula of "red key for red door" rather than there being any actual real puzzles.

That said, from the videos i've seen of RE4, it looks a little bit tasty

Well I never really looked at it like that... but the puzzles like putting the gears in the appropiate spot... or the weights on at a certain balance or power levels at a certain charge... I always thought that to be so cool. And if that was FPS and you could actual hands on do everything that wouldnt be so bad.

Capcom did something that it shouldnt have done.... Made RE4 not about zombies or the virus... thats like making a chain saw massacre movie... and not involving a chainsaw :p

Puzzel games bore me to death. I buy shooters ... to shoot. If it turns tactical or you have to solve puzzels I won't buy it, or become very dissatisfied. (I think for a living and and want no thought reflex action for recreation.)

That is exactly why I loved HL 2. Give me some good ole fashion puzzles along the way and some good FPS shootem ups and I'm game.

I also loved the whole Splinter Cell games and am getting the next one right from the get go.

I am happy that the video games for consoles have gotten alot better of late and the graphics seem to be on the up side also,and I guess while I 'm at it, I'll throw in the fact that there are many PC games not on console and I'll stick with my PC.

Why in the world can't console makers put a 3.0 GHZ CPU into a box and have it upscaled tremendessly,along with the video porcessor...?

By the way, I did not find the jumping in HL2 to be excessive..I did other things..far more than I jumped . This game seemed to fit the style of what I like to see,and cannot wait for the next one.

Resident Evil 4 has already gotten rave reviews and quite a topspin. I guess from the looks of it ,already it is a sure fire winner.

Well, I was talking about Half-Life, not HL2. HL2 didn't have much jumping puzzles at all. And the reason they can't put a 3GHz CPU or a, say, GF6800 in there is because that would take the cost of the console way over their $200 +/- price range, which is why most people use a console over a PC in the first place; price.

Buggy as hell and not quite up to System Shock/Deus Ex standards, but still a cracking game.

You'll want 1GB of RAM to play it smoothly mind you

Naah thats impossible because none of my friends are computer oriented... I gave the name to my dad... my friend joe and my friend peter... and only my dad and joe play it consistently... and one day it said user name does not exist

not really alot on my list as of yet, to the joy of the missis know doupt:) RE4 Jacks Im sure you would like, its a cracking game, im not a huge Fan of RE but I was blown away with this one, im moe the silent hill kinda guy,,well im an adict I have em all.

As for Blood Lines, supper game, buggy but will worth the buy. I did stop playing it because I only had 512MB memory, I got one more stick no more choppy, but then my 6800GT took a **** on me so know i have to wait, I was getting to the night clups n all strip bars go Figure eh :)

If you haven't laready...I suggest you both download the latest movie trailer ( in game play ) for the game F.E.A.R.

It's killer ...and they have incorporated the slow motion feature into the game engine ( alis Max Payne 2 ) ,with some great special effects.

reminds me a bit of HL 2..with even more shootem ups and action.

easily the most anticipated game coming out other than Stalker : Shadows of Chernobyl. ;)

Slinter Cell Chaos Theory..... yeah baby!

Its coming out by the end of March and i just played some of the new demo that just hit the game sites..and it is good... better and improved...

Graphics are so so by all gaming standards...but real good mostly...

The new interface is almost totally different as to the menus and controls...but still looks,feels and reacts like the good ole SP we know and love....

One nice feature in the demo is they made a game preview listing..where in videos..it shows just what all the controls do and the newest innovations.....so when you play the game...you won't be fumbling around trying to find how everything works.

The special 2 disc DVD Collectors edition is on sale now for per-order at about $56.00 or so.
