Tired of ZERO HOUR - need suggestions for a new game

Howdy~

like the titles sez... I've been playing zero hour for about a year. Getting kind of bored with it.
I'm hooked on the strategy games, can anyone suggest a new one for me?

I've already burned out on AOE & Empire Earth.

i am a huge zero hour fan and the newest one i've been playing is warhammer 40000: dawn of war... its amazingly fun and has some awesome battles... i think this game is a must for strategy fans

I'm not too big on RTS games, but I've heard Warhammer 4000 and Rome: Total War are both good. I loved AOE though, and I can't wait for AOE3.

if its an RTS strategy game want I would recommend Warhammer : Dawn of War ( I am getting this next ) or maybe give a game I really liked after learning the controls better and thats Ground Control 2.

GC2 is very well done graphicly in 3D real time RTS style and has a great storyline and cinematics also.... It will present a challenge if thats what your looking for.

The new game Rome: Total War is good if you like masive armies and leaders to lead ..and very good graphics... ;)

I am digging Spellforce right about now.

It's from Jowood, and published by Encore. Their are some silly errors, such as the story will refer to you as male even if you select a female hero, and the writers couldn't decide to spell Orc with a c or ork with a k so they did both.

The game play is really fun, and having heros that level up makes for an RPG/RTS hybrid that is pretty fun.

Don't get all bunched up about the spelling and impossible to complete sidequests, it is a huge game that should keep you busy for quite awhile.
