cpu always running at 100%

i have a AMD 2600 and it's always running at 100% when i run simple programs which usually only takes about 30%CPU power.

can anyone tell me whats happening and how i can fix it?

Use Task Manager to determine which process is maxing out your CPU.

Click on the CPU column label to get the CPU usage from highest to lowest CPU usage. See image.

Right-click on the process and End Task it and if the CPU is no longer at 100 per cent then you have ascertained the problem process. It can be because of poor programming, trojans, scumware etc.

Are you using CPUIdle? If so this is normal and can be ignored.
