OK, I like driving games and just picked up FlatOut which looks to be a riot. Real damage when you wreck, you get ejected from the car etc.
I have only one problem with it. I can't get my sidewinder USB gamepad to work with it. The game recognizes it is there because I can access the menus with it fine. Once I hit start game the sidewinder is dead. The game is supposed to support gamepads and even in the forums they metion using a sidewinder but the forum is pretty dead on the site.
Does anybody run this game successfully with a gamepad? Sidewinder? The config at the start of the game doesn't mention any controller options.
I have the game patched to its latest which was supposed to fix some controller issues but not good for me. Man I am going to have to get more into FPS games where a keyboard and mouse will work for anything. :)
