This isn't really a tech question about games, but with Battlefield 1942, does anyone know if there are any Single Player maps available? All te ones I have dloaded from fileplanet are multiplayer only.

No, not really. The closest you can really get to for SP on BF1942 is to play a Campaign, which is simply playing with bots on a series of maps. The game really wasn't intended to have a story line per se; rather, it was supposed to be an MP that fundamentally- at its essence - is Rock-Paper-Scissors.

If you want a good TC mod, however, check out Desert Combat. Best mod I've ever seen next to Counter Strike.

Also check out Desert Combat Extended, it allows you to play the MP-only maps of DC in SP mode.
