KIDS' CHRISTMAS CANCELLED

The children had been warned that Santa Claus does not give presents to naughty kids.

But they failed to heed the warning, so their father took the ultimate action and auctioned off their Christmas pressies.

The fed-up American dad from Pasadena, California, auctioned the three Nintendo DS games consoles because his sons aged nine, 11 and 15 had misbehaved.

His cause was taken up by online casino GoldenPalace.com which sold off the games for a massive $5,300 (£2,755).

Casino spokesman Monty Kerr said: "Everybody knows Santa doesn't come to naughty kids."

The internet gambling site only agreed to sell of the games after the dad said he would give the proceeds to charity.

A spokesman said the father will use the money to buy a heater for his church and help it fund other renovations.

The Nintendo systems will be given to a needy family by the casino.
