I am puting in another modem so I can multilink the two and i have run out of IRQ's. I looked in device manager and nothing is reserved. If I try to reserve one, I get a message the device is using that IRQ. The only thing I can think of is removing the NIC card to use its IRQ and put it back when I need it. That sounds like a pain. Anyone know how or what I can do to free up another IRQ

If I disable Com 2, this will effect my primary modem since its on Com 2 right?

Shouldn't have an effect on it unless it is an external modem. You can also diable com1 if you are using a ps/2 mouse.
