hello all...
I am going to purchase a CDRW drive and looking at the HP 8200i or the 8210i. The question is what is the diffence between the two other than the price( about $100.00). The reason I am considering the HP is the support and the 4x4x24. The cd's that I burn with the CDRW can be read in any cdrom right. I mainly want to use it as a backup for my computers. thanks for your help..

CD-Rs that you burn should be able to be read in most CD-ROM drives. CD-RWs that you burn will only be read a very few CD-ROM drives (older than 1 1/2 years and forget it, very new and not low end and it *might*).
