Nero OEM came w/ DVD Burner, but I lost the CD Key...what now?

Nero burning ROM came w/ my DVD Burner when I bought it a few months ago...I believe it is Nero v 6.0 OEM. My problem is that I've reformatted and don't remember where the cd key is located and, of course, can't install the program. What are my options besides buying the program? Will they give me a new CD key? Again, this isn't an online pirated version, I actually have the OEM CD.

Have you tried installing it again. I have an oem version of Nero Express that came with a Samsung DVDRW and I don't remember it asking for the Nero number, just the other programs that came with it. I think it's keyed to the drive type. Have you tried it again?

I just bought an LG DVD writer that came with Nero and when I loaded the software it automatically installed the CD key.

If I remeber right, the OEM Nero looks to see if the appropriate burner is installed. if it is, I dont believe the serial is asked for

thanks guys...the drive is an NEC and it was installed, but Nero still asked for the number? I found it, so no biggie now. Thanks.
