I have a ******* little sound card that keeps staying on irq 9, and i want him on 5! I don't know how to move it to 5, cause it doesn't wanna go anywhere. Any suggestions? There is currently a network card on 5, and irq 4 is free.

I've had that happen. It depends a lot on the the type of card, but in my case I forgot to get rid of the line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file like:
SET BLASTER=A240 I9 D1 H5 P330 E640 T6
If you have a line like that then comment it out otherwise Windows will switch to that IRQ when it starts.

If that doesn't work then it may have a DOS utility you have to run to change the resource usage like SB16CFG.EXE.

Or if its really old it'll have <gasp> jumpers to set the IRQ.
