I was reading an article a little bit ago and it said something to the effect that you can't have a soundblaster live card if you have 2 cd-roms. is this true? i have a 6x dvd drive and a 4x4x24 phillips cd-rw drive, should this be any problem? thanks

I have a SB Live - Value, a 48 x creative Cd & an 8x 4x Mitsumi CDR. No Probs.

Hope this helps.

No, it shouldn't be a problem. A neighbor has a SBL with a CD writer and CD-Rom drive. All three work fine.

There is always the possibility of incompatible hardware setups with certain motherboards and their Bioses matched with certain combinations of devices...

More than likely you won't have a problem tho'.
