I know that there is some kind of law against making virii and sending the across the web, but what about spyware? Seems it is like telephone soliciting. Is it covered under the law, or does it fall through the cracks? It's very annoying. Thank God Spybot and Adaware are free!

I think it just falls into the catiegory of advertisment, if they made spyware illigal then supposidly Banners and popups would be illegal, which is a good AND bad thing.
