the might as well have just called this game warcaft 3 skinned over, i felt like i was playing war3 when i was playing it

YA By reading the site it definetly looked a lot the same.. thats cool tho beecause blizzard screwed everyone over with WOW with the monthly cost.. i will buy this game just to annoy blizzard...thanks:)

the monthly cost on WOW is a necessity... if mmorpg makers didnt charge monthly fees they would lose money in the long run due to server costs and bandwidth costs and tech support costs and all that stuff so the fee is a must, blizzard is one of the best game companys out there, i have never seen a non-quality piece of work from them

True they are a quality company but it just ruins the game for me. im in highschool and dont really have a source of income. If they lose money in the long run they should charge more for the game when you buy it new. I just cant commit to monthly charges

If they raised the price of the initial game you still wouldn't buy it. You'd just be complaining how high the game price was. And then after a year when their money ran out from original sales, they'd shut down the servers and then everyone would complain that the game only lasted one year. The monthly fee is the only way to do it besides selling advertising in the game, but it would look really stupid to enter a town and see a huge coca-cola billboard over top of the blacksmith shop.

Christmas is coming up, ask for a WoW subscription card.

Actaully i wouldnt be complaining about a high price because the only prob for me is that i dont have a steady income. but i can save up for one big purchase. How is it so much different from wc3 or diablo? i dont get how it can cost SOO MUCH MORE..i know the servers have to be better it just seems like a big company can figure other alternatives out b4 this one. they allready do have adversitsments also.. just not in game. the banner when you first sign onto bnet would be a great place for any company's slogan.
