I am putting a high speed connection into my shop that is delivered on a 900MHz wireless network. The reason they chose the 900MHz equipment to deliver this broadband service is because it is not bothered by a few trees. As a matter of fact, I have seen it set up behind brick walls without problems, which should not surprise anyone who has used a cordless phone.
What I would like to do is include my house on the LAN which is about 600 feet away, behind a few trees. I am wondering if it might be possible to convert the 2.4 GHz signal to 900MHz and make the bridge that way.
It shouldn't be too difficult, considering I am already converting 900MHz to 2400MHz.
What am I going to need to do this?
I am not stuck on the 900MHz idea, necessarily, but hardwiring is not an option.

Explain what you mean by converting? Your post is really inadequate for details. The first time you mention a 2.4 Ghz radio is when you say "I am wondering if it might be possible to convert the 2.4 GHz signal to 900MHz and make the bridge that way.
It shouldn't be too difficult, considering I am already converting 900MHz to 2400MHz."

I would guess you mean you have the 900 Mhz radio hit your ISP's bridge, then you plug that, via ethernet, into a 2.4 Ghz AP or AP/router. Your not converting anything in that scenario frankly. It's ethernet to ethernet. The conversion would be from wireless to wired and back again. As far as what you can do to get it back to 900 Mhz, well, you go back to ethernet to a 900 Mhz bridge point to point to the remote location. That seems fairly obvious so perhaps there is something in a better description of your network that would shed some light.
