And you thought that woman who ran over those kids was a bad***.
Shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday, the 130-pound Rottweiler, named Rox, bolted past owner Rebecca Hartley and grabbed Candy, a Yorkie owned by Robin Bush, in her mouth.
According to Hartley's statement to police, Bush threw a beer bottle at Rox and chased and kicked the dog. Bush's son then took the Yorkie inside.
"Bush then allegedly grabbed the Rottweiler's collar and began choking the animal, screaming she 'would have it killed,' " the report states. "Bush continued to choke the animal, then began slamming the dog's head against the side of her house."
Hartley, 20, said she was trying to calm 1-year-old Rox, but Bush twisted the dog's collar with one hand and had her other on Rox's snout, repeatedly striking the dog.
"I told her, 'You're killing my dog, you're killing my dog, someone please dial 911,'" Hartley said. "I could not get her to let go of the dog, and within two minutes or less Rox had suffocated."

Personally, I'd prefer to see the Yorkie get killed, but when it comes down to it, just about any dead dog is a good thing, especially if its an obviously violent one from an historically dangerous breed.

if i ever see anybody do this to my 1 year old Rottweiler, witch is an over friendly dog. i will punch that person right in the face...
especially a mad woman like Ms Bush, someone should have had her throat and bashed her head against the wall a couple of times, another case of the wrong female dog getting slammed against the wall.
come on, its a bit draconian when you cant call a female dog a *****

I say a dangerous dog like that needed killing and the owner severley fined for harboring such an animal, too many children, pets and even adults maimed and killed by these dang things.

How about if Ms Bush's dog had been a small child?
People get attached to their pets, and its completely understandable that this woman acted as she did to protect it and ensure that it wouldn't happen again.
My mate who's a postman, which he thinks makes him an expert on dogs, reckons Jack Russells are the worst dogs for unprovoked attacks.

I hate those bloody little overgrown rats.
Especially the ones that cower away from you but bite your heels as soon as you turn your back.

Dogs are only as dangerous as their owners train them.
I've had several Rottweilers that were friendlier than chihuahas or poodles.

exactly, my rothweiler is he same age then the one on the first post. and he's still a baby, OK a big 85lbs baby, and he's going to grow an other 30lbs by the time he's 2 year old. but he doesn't have a bad bone in him. because i don't make him be that way. i never hit him, and he is the friendless dog you'll never meet. some time maybe too friendly.
one of my friend has a 8 months old jack terrier, and every time the two dogs meet, my dog wants to put her dog in he's mouth, because he loves her so much, he won't hurt her, he might step on her by accident, but only dose it because he's over exited to see her...
bush should have her dog taken away for killing an other dog. if the rothweiler would of been a mean dog, she would of never bean able to do what she did to it. the dog would of f***** her up. and who the hell she thinks she is to judge the fate of this dog...

I dunno. I think I'd prefer to be attacked by an out of control jack russell than a friendly rotty.

Not me, if a jack russell tried to attack me I'd have to snap its neck and then I'd feel bad about it.A friendly Rotty would make you smell bad by covering you in slobber but a Jack russell could really mess you up and those thing can easily reach 5' high

If you had kids, which would you feed better about leaving it with? Dogs are just too unpredictable, no matter how well they are trained they can, and often do, turn at the drop of a hat and we see the results plastered over the 2nd rate current affairs shows.
