Loading Applets

I recently added a sound card to my computer and after the installation I'm not able to enter any chat rooms like "Talk City" my computer loads the page up until it says loading applet it dosent reach that point anymore...I also cant view video on line either...thanks for any help

sorry I have a e tower 300 300 mhz 96mb ram the sound card i installed was a "Sound Blaster AWE64" The sound card that came with my computer was built into the mother board...In the spec sheets it says it's a "sound blaster pro" is the stock one better...thanks again

I have the etower 333k.

You need to shut off the on-board in the bios. If its alraedy off check for shared irq's and dma's.

To get into the bios hit <delete> when you see the emachine logo. the setting is under periphials if you have ami bios. good luck.
