I need to know how to set a static IP for my new ethernet printer. I have a Linksys BEFSR41 ver.3 router. The printer is a Konicaminolta 7300 color laser. If I turn it off, it gets reassigned to a different IP and then I have to find it again to use it, not very convienient!
Thanks:t

I haven't worked with that specific printer, but there should be a configuration menu to set I/O for the network port. It's DHCP by default, so you'll have to disable that (set to "no" on an HP).
make sure to set the printer's IP outside of the router's DHCP scope.
