WOW on low end system

Is anybody running World of Warcraft on a low end system?

I have an AMD 1Ghz with just under 500Mb of ram and a ATI Radeon 64Mb VIVO graphics card. I just wanted to know if it would be worth it to buy WOW and run it on this system or if I have to wait to upgrade?

yeah my roomate has the same setup, and he gets about 8-20 fps.. depends on where he is. he has a 9800 pro now, (my old card) and he gets 30-50 fps

was it playable at 8-20 fps or was just too annoying?

it was playable... i played on it for a week... but my computers a 3500+ 1 gig corsiar and 9800xt... so it did get irritating... i wont settle for anything less then 100fps.
