I installed a scanner and I am getting this error: "The SHELL32.DLL file is linked to missing export SHLWAPI.DLL:SHRegGetUSValueA."
What is up with it and how do i fix it?

I have tried looking for both shell32 and shlwapi.dll in the regestry. I guess I have to unlink shell32.dll to shlwapi.dll how do i do that?

Well I found out my problem. It was IE5 but thanks anyway. After all of that I got the program to work and everything but (get this)the **** thing doesn't work anyway. The scanner arm won't move. It's broke! Ha have to laugh at that one.

Are you sure the arm is broke? If it is an HP scanner...it has an arm lock ...to lock the scanner when it is being transported, so that it won't damage the scanner.

Yea it is not an arm lock this model doesn't have arm lock. Already checked.
