Half-Life 2...

I just beat HL2, and wow what a great game, but the ending left me with too many unanswered questions an wanting more... Does anyone else feel that there'll prolly be another sequel because this ending was rather hollow, who is thw g-man (gordon freeman in the future? g-man - freeman/gordon freeman) or his father maybe, who knows) why is the world the way it is,. but that'll prolly be answered wen i beat HL1 but i''m stuck at the toxic waterfall or wutever u wanna call it :P anyhoo anyone have any porrible ansers or feel the same way. :t

HL3 has already been confirmed, so the story is definately not over yet.

it wudda been nice to see all the aliens from the first one to have an appearance, jus liek them annoyin lil squeelin piggys who send out shockwaves, an wut about that weird bee type gun from the first one, an where'd all the original military folk go? :t

How nice would it be to have a HL2.5? An expansion bridge between HL2 and HL3? Or maybe a Prequel to HL2 so we know WTF happened between Black Mesa and City 17.

It was too short and the ending sucked imo it was not worth the money I spent... sorry :(

I thought so too, the first hlaf-life was 100x harder an longer too i found :t

Here's a good site that goes into a lot of detail about the game, much more than just reviewing the textures and water effects, its a long read, but well worth it if you have the time.

Rather than starting a new thread..... DFS got me wondering some....

Of the games all of you have played in the past year or so...How would you all rate HL2 on a scale of one to ten...??

I am a big pain in the gazoo when it comes to making up my mind on games sometimes...and still think about whether to order this tomorrow or get another couple of real good games I want.

I respect all of your opinions..its just that I know some heree who seem more objective than others and I tend to trust their judgement a bit more..... Thanks!

hl2 IS great, so much fun . . .but its . . well too short and if u have completed it once . . well thats it

u can just then hope for some good mods or css (which i dont like)

still sticking to CS

just ordered it..( see other post above) .

Couldn't stand the indicision any longer..

I saved a bit on the purchase....and this CS Source has me wondering some also.

Some updates that fixes some bugs have been out today I guess..so hopefully it will play out ok...

Just like D3 ,FarCry,and any other archive keeper...got to have it for posterity sake.:rolleyes: :eek: ;)
